AWOLNATION "Cold Blood" Record Album

AWOLNATION is an artist whose music I’ve enjoyed for years. As an avid fan, I decided to take one of AWOLNATION’s albums and rebrand it as well as design the record album for it. I chose Run, their second album to rebrand with the name Cold Blood, taken from the lyrics of one of the songs on that album. According to the artist, the original album had no specific meaning, which gave me the creative freedom to invent one and use it as my base to design the record album. I listened to each song and pieced together a story through them of a man craving a relationship with someone only to find himself losing his mind, unable to trust reality and himself unfolding as a result.
This project came together for me like a jigsaw puzzle; every piece just fell into place. I had a plan from the start and through various iterations and experiments I was able to bring that original vision to life. There were bumps in the road, but this project felt like the smoothest journey from concept to reality.
