Print Advertisements
One of my biggest responsibilities at Wolf Trap was the creation of print advertisements. I would have to take note of upcoming ads and make sure to request which shows would be displayed on each ad. From there I would either use a preexisting ad from this year for the same publication or I would use an example from last year to create a new ad that matched the 2026 Summer Style. Once I had the layout and the correct shows displayed, I would submit the ads for review by other members of the Communications and Marketing department. If revisions were needed, I would make changes to the documents and resubmit them for review. When an ad is complete, I was responsible for uploading the correct files so the ad could be sent to the publication.
In total I worked on 13 print ads for publications like the Washington Post, Fairfax County Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the New Yorker. That advertisement will be published on June 1st and is not shown here yet.
